Mayor Mark Farrell delivers for March for Meals
March 30, 2018Marie J. Nedich

Today Mayor Mark Farrell delivered a meal to our client Maurice in the Tenderloin. Thank you Mayor Farrell for taking part in our March For Meals campaign for three years in a row! On behalf of all 4,000 seniors we serve, we are very grateful for your support! Maurice, a San Francisco resident since 1959, was thrilled by the visit and very happy to talk about his five daughters. What he loves most about our city is that “It is an international city. You can be exposed to all different cultures, languages, and nationalities.”

Every March, we invite public officials to deliver a meal with us to celebrate the historic legacy of the Older Americans Act. In doing this, we come together to protect and honor the lives of seniors across San Francisco.
