This summer we may experience heatwaves, power outages, or poor air quality. Are you and your elderly friends and family ready?

Know where your emergency kit is: You should include items such as water, non-perishable food, medicine, and a flashlight.

Make a plan with family, friends, or neighbors to check on you: In the event of an emergency, ask a friend to knock on your door if they have not heard from you.
