Thank You for Making the 37th Star Chefs & Vintners Gala Unforgettable

We are still filled with gratitude and awe from the 37th Annual Star Chefs & Vintners Gala Presented by Delta Dental, and it’s all because of you.

The evening was a true celebration of purpose and community with a culinary symphony conducted by Gala Chef Chair Stuart Brioza. From the exquisite dishes prepared by over 70 of Northern California’s finest chefs, to the world-class wines poured by more than 60 exceptional sommeliers and vintners, it was an unforgettable experience with a record-breaking outcome. Thanks to your generosity and spirit we came together for an unforgettable evening­ and made Meals on Wheels San Francisco fundraising history, raising an astonishing $5.7 million dollars (and counting)! That means more meals, more care, and more connection for thousands of seniors who count on us every single day. Your support is a promise that no senior in San Francisco will be forgotten. It means a warm meal for a grandmother who lives alone. A friendly knock on the door for a veteran who hasn’t seen family in months. A lifeline of compassion delivered with every route.­

This achievement would not have been possible without the remarkable leadership of our Honorary Co-Chairs, Vishal and Pantea Grover. In a time of tremendous need their dedication and generosity were so inspirational, and their passion and energy contagious.

Whether this was your first gala or your fifteenth, you made a lasting impact. You helped fill empty plates and lift heavy hearts. You showed up not only in person, but in purpose. To our longtime supporters: your continued belief in this mission is the foundation upon which every milestone is built. Thank you for standing with us once again. To our new supporters: welcome. We are so grateful you’ve joined our cause. Your belief in our work and your willingness to act is what allows us to reach more seniors with each passing day. We were also proud to honor Delta Dental with our first-ever Community Impact Award, celebrating partnerships that help bring our mission to life.
