The 2013 Meals On Wheels of San Francisco Star Chefs & Vintners Gala raised a record $2.165 million for homebound seniors – the most ever in the event’s 26-year history. This amount translates into an estimated 430,000 meals. That’s more than a third of the 1.1 million meals that Meals On Wheels of San Francisco will deliver to homebound seniors this year.

More than 100 chefs and over 63 vintners participated in the Gala, one of the finest culinary events in the Bay Area. Over 334 volunteers donated their time, equal to an in-kind gift of $30,000, and 200 businesses and individuals contributed to the live and silent auctions.
