30th Annual Star Chefs & Vintners Gala

The 29th Annual Star Chefs & Vintners Gala was held on Sunday, April 17, 2016, at Fort Mason Center’s Festival Pavilion. We are thrilled to share that this year’s event broke an all-time fundraising record.
Together, we raised an astounding $3.3 million!
This event is not possible without each and every one of you coming together, under one roof, to ensure homebound seniors in every neighborhood of San Francisco are not forgotten! To remind you of that impact, here’s a link to the video we debuted at the Gala.
Much of the Gala’s success comes as a result of tremendous support from many generous donors and contributors.
This year, the Fund-A-Route campaign brought in a record $1,000,000, buoyed by a matching gift of $100,000 for every person who raised their paddle at the $5,000 level.
The Live Auction surpassed all expectations by netting $1.2 million for 17 incredible Lot Items.
It would be impossible to thank everyone who contributed to this effort. We do want to personally acknowledge Gala Chef Chair Nancy Oakes, the 100 participating Chefs, the 100 Vintners, the Stellar Bartenders, Sommeliers, our Board and Honorary Board, the Gala Committees, the more than 350 Gala Volunteers, and last, but not least, our staff. Special thanks also goes to event production specialists Impact Lighting and Design, Blueprint Studios, and Taste Catering for their leadership and to Richard Crocker for his tireless work to support Nancy Oakes and the Chefs.
Even with all the help above, it’s because of you – our Patrons, Sponsors, Guests, and Volunteers – that the event was an inspiring success. Please know how appreciative and blessed we are because of your support and hard work.
