Meals On Wheels of San Francisco exists to alleviate the food insecurity and loneliness experienced by seniors who want to stay in their own home but cannot shop or prepare meals for themselves.

Our network of drivers, social workers, nutritionists, community partners, volunteers, donors and advocates are a formidable force against senior neglect and malnutrition. Meals On Wheels of San Francisco believes in delivering more than a meal-- we are delivering hope to homebound seniors.

Senior Spotlight
Hector and Miriam Martinez started on the Meals On Wheels program in 2006. He is from Puerto Rico and she is from El Salvador, and they met in the US over 60 years ago. They turned to Meals On Wheels when weakening health made it difficult to prepare meals. Mr. and Mrs. Martinez love to share stories with visitors about the exotic trips they were able to experience when they were younger.
