On November 8, MOWSF and A Woman’s Palate hosted the second in a series of luncheons designed to provide professional women with an opportunity to network and learn about great wines made by female winemakers – all while supporting a great cause.
The “Women and Wine” luncheon was held at Perbacco Ristorante + Bar and chaired by its co-owner, long-time MOWSF supporter Leslie Gibin. The sold-out luncheon raised over $20,000 for MOWSF. The 36 guests enjoyed an informal wine tasting, and an intimate, three-course wine-paired luncheon.
There were also comments from each participating vintner that included Molly Chappellet of Chappellet Winery,Cathy Corison of Corison Winery,Kara Dunn of Dunn Vineyards,Annie Favia of Favia, Sharon Kazan Harris of RARECAT Wines, Cherie Melka of Melka Wines, Beth Novak Milliken of Spottswoode Estate, Suzanne Phifer Pavitt of Phifer Pavitt Winery, Bettina Sichel of Laurel Glen Vineyard and Barrie Sterling of Iron Horse Vineyards.
