Gifts through a Will or Trust

You can provide ongoing support to MOWSF through your will or trust. Giving this way means that the services and programs that you have supported in your lifetime will continue to touch homebound vulnerable seniors for years to come.

Naming MOWSF in your Will.

You can make a gift to MOWSF in your will by designating a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your assets, or a percentage of the remaining part of your estate after other distributions to your loved ones are made. If you do not have a will written yet, or have not reviewed it lately, these are excellent reasons to create or update your will, and discuss this potential sample language with your attorney:

“I give, bequeath, and devise (all or ____ percent of) the rest, residue and remainder of the property, both real and personal, wherever situated, which I may own or be entitled to at my death, to Meals On Wheels of San Francisco, Inc. to be used for its general purposes.”
