Our corporate supporters are essential partners in the work to support seniors living with dignity and independence in the community. We appreciate the financial gifts, year round volunteering, and donation of goods and services that corporations and businesses provide in support of our work to nourish the whole person.
See below for an introduction to some of the ways that corporate partners can support MOWSF.

MOWSF Annual Star Chefs & Vintners Gala Sponsorship
San Francisco’s most exciting food and wine event of the year is Meals On Wheels of San Francisco’s Annual Star Chefs & Vintners Gala. Northern California’s most illustrious chefs come together for this one-night-only epicurean extravaganza, which features an hors d’oeuvre and wine reception, a sit-down, three-course dinner, and a lavish dessert reception. Benefits of Gala sponsorship include on-site, print, online, and media recognition; tickets and invitations; and more. Please contact Events Manager David Miranda at firstname.lastname@example.org or (415) 343-1280 for more information about Gala sponsorship opportunities.
Hosting an Event to Support MOWSF
Hosting an event is a wonderful opportunity for you to support San Francisco seniors in need, while also receiving marketing exposure and valuable consumer contact. Your fundraising event can be a dinner, concert, bowl-a-thon, wine tasting, restaurant promotion, art auction, food festival, silent auction at an existing event, or even a portion of proceeds of a sold item … if you have an idea for an event to benefit MOWSF, we’d love to hear it. See our Events section for more information about hosting an event, or contact Events Manager David Miranda at email@example.com or (415) 343-1280.
The Annual Holiday Gift Drive
Every year, MOWSF delivers Holiday Gift Bags to more than 3,300 elderly San Franciscans. These Gift Bags contain small, useful gift items such as soap, toiletries, hand towels, boxed of tea, pen and writing pads. By sponsoring the Annual Holiday Gift Bag Drive, your company can ensure that each senior we serve receives a special gift during the holiday season.
Your company’s donation of $3,500 will fund 500 gift bags, and we’ll help plan a gift-wrapping event at your office. Employees have the option of delivering Holiday Gift Bags as well. Please contact David Miranda, Director of Events and Corporate Relations, at firstname.lastname@example.org or (415) 343-1280 for more information.
Epicure is a unique way to support Meals On Wheels of San Francisco while enjoying an unique and memorable culinary experience. Each year, Epicure raises more than $100,000 to provide meals and services to homebound seniors. Epicure tables, which seat six, are donated by top-rated restaurants in Northern California. Tables at these restaurants are paired with individuals or corporations that make a contribution of $3,000 to Meals On Wheels of San Francisco. Tables include a specially prepared chef’s tasting menu, wine pairings, gratuity and special attention from the restaurant. Visit www.mowsf.org/epicure for a list of participating restaurants. Contact David Miranda, Director of Events and Corporate Relations, at email@example.com or (415) 343-1280 for more information.
A Year of Service Volunteer Opportunities
A Year of Service is an opportunity for groups of volunteers — such as businesses, churches, schools, clubs or other organizations — to make a volunteer commitment throughout the year. Our Year of Service teams are a vital, reliable link between seniors facing hunger and isolation and the food, companionship, and safety support we provide all year long.
How does A Year of Service work?
- Plan a whole year of activities in minutes.
- Volunteer on a quarterly, monthly, or weekly basis.
- Choose times that are best for you.
- No scrambling last-minute to find a volunteer opportunity.
- Facilitate participation by your employees or group members with a schedule of opportunities, instead of one opportunity at a time.
- Create a mix of opportunities, including experience for your group to volunteer directly with homebound seniors. See the Group Opportunities and Events section of our website for more information.
- Volunteers will have real impact on clients and services, creating an instant and on-going sense of accomplishment.
- We can accommodate groups with up to 40 volunteers.
- Receive recognition on our website, in our annual report, and in other media as opportunities arise.
Please contact Volunteer Director Danie Belfield at firstname.lastname@example.org or (415) 343-1311 to learn more or create a corporate volunteer package that meets your needs.
