Thanksgiving-at-MOWSFOn Thursday, November 27, from 8 a.m. to noon, more than 400 volunteers will join Meals On Wheels of San Francisco (MOWSF) and deliver Thanksgiving dinners and pumpkin tarts to 1,700 homebound seniors. Seniors will also receive gift bags, houseplants, greeting cards and handmade place mats.

More than ever, San Francisco’s homebound seniors need their community’s support. Many low-income seniors struggle with hunger and isolation every day and the holidays can be an especially difficult time. Many of our clients live alone and a volunteer visit truly brightens their day.
