A once in a lifetime epicurean adventure awaits six guests at the Clos Pissarra vineyard, in Spain’s Priorat region, 60 miles southwest of Barcelona. Your hosts and tour guides for this very special trip will be the vineyard founders: celebrity chefs Gerald Hirigoyen of bocadillos and Piperade, Sylvain Portay of Alain Ducasse, and Laurent Manrique of New York’s Millesime, Café de la Presse, Blanc & Rouge and soon to be wine bar Aquitaine, and Master Sommelier and proprietor of Miura Vineyards, Emmanuel Kemiji.
Your trip will begin with a night’s stay in Barcelona and dinner with all your hosts at a restaurant of their choosing. In the morning, travel to the famed La Boqueria market with your hosts to choose all the ingredients for your meals over the next three days.
After your trip to La Boqueria, your group will travel to Clos Pissarra and spend two nights with your hosts at Mas dels Frares, which extends over 250 acres with broad views of the rolling valleys. Your group and your hosts will occupy the entire property and have your meals together there. Your tour guides will craft intimate dinner experiences for you each night and give you a personal tour of the vineyard.
From the city to country, the historic Priorat region to the new winery at Clos Pissarra, the Mediterranean sea to the Monstant mountains, this trip will afford a unique opportunity to experience the unparalleled pleasures of feasting and friendship in a spectacular landscape where rich historical, spiritual, and agricultural traditions infuse the wines and winemaking.
