Roberta with Daniela
Roberta has lived in San Francisco for 78 years. She is the proud mother of two grown sons, whom she raised in the house she still lives in today. She also had a daughter who tragically passed away at 21 years old. Roberta is from Crowley, Louisiana and grew up there as the oldest of all her brothers and sisters. But she hated the heat, and left after graduating high school and came to San Francisco to pursue nursing and cooler weather.
Daniela is a Senior English major attending the University of San Francisco. She is a Resident Advisor on campus, a job she’s held for the past three years. Daniela eventually plans to apply to a Master’s Program in Fine Arts for Creative Writing, and her career aspirations include writing professionally or teaching at the collegiate or high school level. In her spare time she enjoys reading and writing short fiction. The youngest of three children, Daniela is from Eastern Los Angeles and came to San Francisco to learn about a different city.
