San Francisco Seniors Remember is a unique collaborative oral history project of Meals On Wheels of San Francisco, the University of San Francisco, and StoryCorps.
At Meals On Wheels of San Francisco, we have the great privilege of getting to know some very special San Francisco residents. The homebound seniors we serve are as diverse, interesting, and unique as the city itself and, when we’re lucky, we get to hear their stories. With this project, you, too, get to hear some of these stories. We’re honored that these seniors have been so open, honest, wise, funny, and reflective in sharing their stories with us – and we’re grateful that so many wonderful individuals and organizations have joined us in making this project a reality.
