2015 Kaiser Half Marathon and 5K LogoMeals On Wheels of San Francisco (MOWSF) is fortunate to have a longstanding relationship with Kaiser Permanente. We have received grants from the Kaiser’s foundation since 1998 and gifts through the Community Giving Campaign since 2007.

This spring, for the second year in a row, MOWSF was selected as one of four beneficiaries of the Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Half Marathon & 5K Fun Run.  On February 2 more than 15,000 runners braved rainy weather for the 13-mile run through Golden Gate Park and up the Great Highway. Together they helped raise $20,000 for MOWSF and San Francisco homebound seniors.

The race is presented by the Pamakid Runners Club whose purpose is to promote the healthy lifestyle, support the running community and charitable causes in the SF Bay Area.

Registration is now open for the 32nd Annual Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Half Marathon & 5K. The race will be held on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015, in Golden Gate Park.
