For Valentine’s Day, MOWSF gave valentines and a special gift bag to more than 2,200 seniors. Thousands of handmade scarves and hats from the annual Knit for St. Anthony’s project were wrapped up by volunteers like a group of resident adviser students at the University of San Francisco. The gifts were then delivered with cards and chocolates by our drivers and social workers.
The Valentine’s Day cards were lovingly made by supporters from around the Bay Area, including several hundred cards — pictured here — made by high school student Kariana C. Kariana is participating in DoSomething.org’s Love Letters challenge. (We hope she wins!)
The MOWSF Family is so touched by all the amazing community and volunteer support. Happy Valentine’s Day, San Francisco! XOXO!
