Last month, Meals On Wheels of San Francisco wrapped up its Spring Cleaning All Year Round matching fundraising campaign. The goal was to raise $10,000, which the Winifred Clive Foundation had offered to double via a matching grant. Instead, the program, which connects volunteer groups with homebound seniors, raised more than double that amount!

During the final week of the campaign, MOWSF got a surprise when a long-time MOWSF supporter said he would also double donations up to $10,000. Gifts made toward the fundraiser from that day on could be tripled, an offer that inspired many more people to give. As a result of the combined generosity of so many people, $34,215 will go toward this amazing volunteer program.

More than 80 donors contributed to the fundraiser, including past volunteers. MOWSF is tremendously grateful to each and every donor, as well as to our many supporters who helped us spread the word to their family and friends!
