Join the Supper Club
The Supper Club is our monthly gift program. It is an easy and affordable way to make a difference all year long. Not only will you save trees, but you are ensuring the continued effectiveness of our programs with your ongoing support. Each month, your credit or debit card will be charged in the designated amount. At the end of the year, you will receive one tax receipt for your annual contributions. Click here to join the Club!
Tribute Gifts
We invite you to make your contribution in memory of a loved one or in honor of a birthday, special occasion, or speedy recovery. With a tribute gift, you touch the hearts of people you love and improve the life of a senior because of your support.
Please add recipients’ name and address, along with your personal message in the special comments box on the secure Donation Form. A note card will be sent to the recipient by Meals On Wheels of San Francisco to acknowledge your donation.
Attend our Events
Meals On Wheels of San Francisco takes part in several exciting fundraising events throughout the year. Event volunteers, corporate sponsors, and event participants each play a vital role in the success of these events. Appreciated Assets and Stock
By making a stock gift, you gain the satisfaction of supporting people in need, while bypassing capital-gains taxes and receiving substantial income-tax deductions. Matching Gifts / Workplace Giving
Many companies offer matching gift programs and/or workplace campaigns to encourage employees to contribute to charitable organizations. Some provide matching funds to support employee volunteer hours. Most of these programs match contributions dollar for dollar, and some will even double or triple the amount of your gift. Community Thrift
Drop your unwanted treasures off at Community Thrift (623 Valencia Street in the Mission) and allocate your goods to MOWSF (#131). Community Thrift will sell your goods and give a hearty portion of the sales to us. This is the easiest and quickest way to turn your unwanted possessions into critical services for homebound seniors!
Maximize Your Car Donation Tax Deduction in Moments
Donate your used car, van, truck, or recreational vehicle to Meals On Wheels of San Francisco. The proceeds from the sale of your donated vehicles help to enhance the quality of life for seniors in San Francisco. Vehicle donations made to MOWSF are tax deductible. Simply call 1-888-MOW-KAR1 (1-888-669-5271) or donate online and we will handle the rest. Be sure to designate Meals On Wheels of San Francisco as the beneficiary program. All vehicles regardless of age and condition are accepted!
