This summer, members of the Boulder Valley Christian Church Youth Ministry from Boulder, Colorado, delivered disaster preparedness kits to 40 Meals On Wheels of San Francisco seniors. Group members range in age from 14 to 22 years old.

While on a four-day trip to SF, the group, which camped out at a church, also gave 475 sack lunches to people on the streets of San Francisco. The church group volunteered with several other organizations that provide food to those in need, including The San Francisco-Marin Food Bank, Project Open Hand and Glide.

What an amazing group of young people. Fortunately, they also got to do some sightseeing before heading back home. 🙂
