This past Thursday at Meals On Wheels of San Francisco (MOWSF), more than 450 community volunteers brought Thanksgiving dinners to over 1,300 homebound seniors across San Francisco.
Every senior received a hot turkey meal with traditional fixings and a pumpkin tart. Volunteers also delivered handmade greeting cards, Thanksgiving place mats, houseplants and chocolates in “goodie bags.” The handmade greeting cards and Thanksgiving place mats were created by school, community and corporate group volunteers.
We are so grateful for the amazing community support!
